Zonal Level Chess Tournament 2025–2026

Event: CISCE National Sports and Games – Zonal Level Chess Competition (Z10)

Lourdes English Medium School, Kanajar successfully hosted the Zonal Level Chess Tournament 2025–26, bringing together students from various schools to compete in a spirit of strategy, focus, and fair play.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students in the U-14 and U-17 categories (Boys and Girls). The competition was held in both group and individual formats under the supervision of judges Mr. Prasanna Rao and Mr. Derrick Pinto.

U-14 Boys
  • 1st Place – Sri Siddhi Vinayaka Residential School (KA066)

  • 1st Place – Vidyodaya Public School (KA106)

  • 2nd Place – Trinity Central School (KA250)
  • 3rd Place – Green Valley International School (KA105)

The tournament concluded with a Valedictory Ceremony and Prize Distribution, where winners received their medals and certificates in the presence of esteemed guests.

Principal Mrs. Jasmine Pinto delivered the Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the efforts of the staff, coordinators, judges, volunteers, and participants.
